WXYZ Four O'Clock Movie opening
Under fair use (criticism & commentary) of the 1976 copyright act, I present this opening of the 4 O'clock movie opening. It says 4:30, but that was when most markets aired the broadcasts. Other than that, it is identical. I have also restored the original sound used in the Detroit opening

The Silverdome has been a place that has thwarted all attempts at success for the Detroit Lions. Today we expected to see it finally razed to the ground, but the building had one last middle finger to Detroit.

A bunch of would-be spider people prove that the greatest think to come from the parkour craze, is hilarious parkour failures. I have placed these clips to a fairly recognizable tune.

No one wants to answer this or they do not know how to answer. When you glaze your ceramic, it changes colors after kiln. So if you want just plain white or ivory color what colors should you use to get those results?
Is the plaster is the same of gypsum?
Question? Why did he not say anything about using mold release? scraping clay out with tools is an easy way to ruin your piece, as well as telling the students to soak your plaster in water to release the clay?
Not encouraging...
In 2023 this bar came BACK! Google it and learn more.

I've been making ceramic molds for 25 years now. Plastic molds as well. There is so much in this video that he is doing wrong. First, measure your plaster. This is clumpy and much too thick. Second, never pour plaster directly over your model unless you use a release. And do not use anything like Vaseline. A great release spray is Murphy's Oil Soap mixture of half water and half soap. Put mixture in a plastic spray bottle. And from a distance lightly mist your model Use a cool blow dryer to get rid of any air bubbles. Plaster should be mixed by hand 1 part cold water to 1.5 parts of plaster. Sift plaster into water. Never the other way around. Let plaster sit for up to 5 min undisturbed so plaster will absorb all the water. Use a paint stick to stir mixture for at least 3 minutes. Pour plaster over model slowly from the lowest point. Let plaster set. When plaster reaches maximum heat, remove your model gently. Hope this helps. Note: Use only #1 pottery plaster!

Wonderful video. Thank you so very much
The most poorly executed and badly thought out plaster mold making I have ever seen. 👎
This video should be removed, why share incorrect procedures? makes no sense
Classic.

No one is wearing the appropriate fine dust masks!!!
Great job

Inhaling plaster dust or any kind of fine dust is harmful for your lungs
I get the idea . Thanks for posting.
If you get a bottle of Windex, and Duff half of it out, adding purified water to the top of the bottle. Shake it well and then just give it a light Spritz over your mold, this will prevent bubbles. But thank you for this video I am saving it for future moles that I will make.
@Russ Herschler : Is this the real footage? I thought the music was The Big Show Theme by Walter Raim. It's quite interesting. Thanks.
I grew up back then and remember a completely different audio than Chicago.
It's like your casting it upside down I disagree with your way you're making it the hard way on everybody
I didn't know they made an American version of Doctor Who
Might as well considering the UK fucked it
I rarely watched the 4 O'clock movie. But I was in front of the TV for the whole week, for Monster Week! A great time to be a kid. Today, the kids have no clue, and that is a shame.
That's Very good thanks a lots

WXYZ's skein was "The 4:30 Movie" up to 1976 when it was moved to 4:00. So this fit. But what would've been WXYZ's theme for said movies pre-1970? And New York's "4:30 Movie" theme was actually "The Big Show (Theme)," composed by Walter Raim.
@4:12...MGMT?
This is one if the worst videis I've ever seen. Messy and very un professional.
Very nice tutorial on a one part plaster mold! There is one thing I realized towards the end that could be added! Adding a release agent (like murphy soap) before pouring the plaster would make the terracotta piece dislodge almost completely after hardening! Then, you wouldn't have to risk chipping or cutting into the plaster while digging out the clay piece! ^^
You're basically explaining to the "teacher" how it's done properly 😄 This is not a good tutorial.
Can I smear Petroleum Jelly (Vaseline) for a release agent on the forms?
Not a good teacher.....when you mention who told do something you need to explain it.
